Lepcha

Improve this page! Feel free to draft a pull request on GitHub.

This page offers basic guidance on typesetting a LaTeX document in the Lepcha language using the Lepcha script.

Support with ini locale file

Here is a minimal sample file with lepcha as the main language (assuming luatex, which is the recommended engine, and babel ≥25.2, although it may work with previous versions).

\documentclass[lepcha]{article}

\usepackage[provide=*]{babel}

\babelfont{rm}{Noto Sans Lepcha}

\begin{document}

Local name $=$ ᰛᰩᰵᰛᰧᰵᰶ

\end{document}

You may need download the font or replace it with another one in your system.
