This page offers basic guidance on typesetting a LaTeX document in the Khmer language using the Khmer script.

Support with ini locale file

Here is a minimal sample file with khmer as the main language (assuming luatex, which is the recommended engine, and babel ≥24.14, although it may work with previous versions).

\usepackage[provide=*]{babel}

\babelfont{rm}{Noto Sans Khmer}

% The next 2 lines make sure the Latin script is displayed.

You may need download the font or replace it with another one in your system.
