The structure of the zip file could be like this: pst-perspective.zip: pst-perspective/ README CHANGES pst-perspective-doc.bib pst-perspective-doc.pdf pst-perspective-doc.tex pst-perspective-docEN.pdf pst-perspective-docEN.tex pst-perspective.sty pst-perspective.tex Make sure you use a proper zip archiver. CHANGES could contain a version history, README a short description, and a short information what the license of your package is. When you have done this read the 'Preparation' part of http://ctan.org/upload which now should make much more sense to you as it might do now. Use a proper zip program to create the archive. A proper zip program is able to discriminate between text and binary files and mark files accordingly. This gives us the possibility to get rid of CRLF line endings from Windows by letting unzip do the work of removing CRLF line endings.
