Well, there are two cases: Old LaTeX2 names that may help migrating to LaTeX3. These notes may disappear some time. The other case is renaming of primitives =E2=80=93 if someone reads the luaTeX manual he has to know= how to use this in LaTeX3. The first approach to find this is searching the documentation for the name of the primitive. If this does not help =E2=80= =93 well, you're lost. So I think it's important to note what primitives goes where.
