Hello Frank, Before anyone (probably Will or me) does any actual work on some of the tem= plate discussion, I wonder if you would summarise what you think the templa= te approach gets right that I've got wrong in template-alt, or more general= ly what we need to bear in mind at the "defining a template" level. I'd point out that I know that there are some "holes", and that we'= ve already got a list of probable revisions (Will's point about initial val= ues, for example).
