For Danish the complete list of accented characters is \'A\'a\ \'E\'e\ \'I\'i\ \'O\'o\ \'U\'u\ \'Y\'y\ \AE\ae\ \'\AE\'\ae\ \O\o\ \'O\'o\ \r{A}\r{a} \'{\r{A}}\'{\r{a}} Note that no Danish word requires an accent aigu but it is allowed to put this accent on any wovel if it removes any ambiguity there might have been. Not that you would ever see anyone doing a \'{\r{a}} but... So this is an additional 6 characters. I agree that the perthousand zero could go. It just causes problems with the TS1 encoding anyway... As to am ffj ligature in Danish it probably needs some kind of special handling. The only words containing it is "affjedre" (to spring) and "affjedring" (suspension) and the rest are just variations on these. Al other ffj combinations are compound words - you could cook up a word like "stoffjer" (fabric feather) but then you'd probably want to have it typeset as a single f plus the fj ligature. -- Morten
