First of all, this eliminates the well-known {\Large$\longrightarrow$} bug. It also improves the general quality of output. The Sauter fonts are very stable and reliable, and there will not be more changes to their metrics. They are tested on a considerable number of sites and actively maintained. Unfortunately, not all of the above is yet true for the dc fonts. They are clearly marked as preliminary, and will stay in this class after the 1.2 release to come out at the beginning of September. Maybe one more year is needed to promote them to ec fonts. Especially the dc font metrics will change and may change again even after the 1.2 release, thus one cannot rely on line and page breaks. --J"org Knappen
