That was just an example.
 
The fact is that I'm developping a TeX SGML-like-format.
You can write &Entities; or <Elements>, just like SGML documents
(with the standard grammar) or HTML.
 
Entities are easy. You make \catcode`\&=\active and
\def&#1;{...} Then you can expand #1 as you like.
 
Elements are similar. The problem is with Attributes (ALIGN=CENTER
as in my example or <ISBN TYPE=SERIAL>08-345-3224-X</ISBN>) and
abbreviations (<TITLE/This is the title/).
 
I've tried many ways ("<" active, "<" like "\", ...) but I haven't
found anything perfect yet.
(Yes, I could make TeX translate it, but I don't want a TeX program,
I want TeX to work (and /fast/) with the SGML grammar...)
 
My questions is still the same:
 
    "How much SGML is going to be supported by the LaTeX3 project?"
