I was originally advised to join this list so I could keep abreast of changes in the graphics package, so it seems announcements *were* made about latex2e here. Besides FM has just said... mittelbach> In the past we used (or rather allowed to use) this list also for mittelbach> comments on the beta version for LaTeX2e but this was only a temp mittelbach> solution... Thank you. Now moving on... mittelbach> ... i guess it is about time to restore this list to its original mittelbach> intentions: to be a list to discuss concepts etc for LaTeX3 not mittelbach> LaTeX2e. I'm sure there will still be a need to discuss aspects of latex2e, of its packages, and to be informed of bug fixes. This is particularly true of those of us at a site with large number of non-technical latex users who expect it to keep working "the old way", and who have to be convinced to change to the "new way". Some of that discussion will be relevant to the future of latex3. Where should that discussion take place? The latex-2e list (which I was told was started "by accident")?
