Status: R X-Status: X-Keywords: X-UID: 1622 I was away when the final 2e hit the streets but beside that being a possible oversight, i guess it is about time to restore this list to its original intentions: to be a list to discuss concepts etc for LaTeX3 not LaTeX2e. In the past we used (or rather allowed to use) this list also for comments on the beta version for LaTeX2e but this was only a temp solution. Now that there is a standard reporting way to report errors in code or documentation to the latexbug address this isn't any longer necessary. It is true that this list was very quiet in the past. This is not too surprising, it happens to many lists now and then, and i can't say that i'm not grateful for it :-) The work on 2e has been work that used up nearly all human resources of the LaTeX3 project for a while. With the official version out (and any possible glitches soon fixed) i hope we can start concentrating again more on ltx3. I think that the effort was well spend but that is for you to judge. good night frank ps (there is an update coming up for the version on ctan; yes, sorry despite all efforts we made at least two last-minute mistakes, so before rushing out, you might want to wait another day or two)
