This package contained modified versions of AMS files which could (with a little effort) be made to work with LaTeX-2e. Does anybody have (hacked) versions of the AMS files (especially, amsart.sty) which they would be willing to share? I know the AMS intends to release new versions later this year - perhaps to coincide with the official release of LaTeX-2e, but it would be nice to have a working version now.
