I've formally reported this through the proper channel. I've produced two packages by hacking at old things I regularly use: changebar.sty a version of that which is in CTAN; uses package option instead of the \driver command footnote.sty Dominik/Chris's fnpara, Brian Schellenberger's "footnotes numbered per page", and footnote mark := symbol, each separately selectable by options Pro tem, I've mounted them for anon ftp in ftp.cl.cam.ac.uk:/pegasus/tex/ They're rather rough at the moment, just the wherewithal to explore the business of writing stuff for LaTeX2e; if no-one else is working on similar things, I'll tidy them up and submit them to an archive (in particular, the changebar was developed from a docstripped original I happened to have at home...) r -- Robin (Campaign for Real Radio 3) Fairbairns rf@cl.cam.ac.uk U of Cambridge Computer Lab, Pembroke St, Cambridge CB2 3QG, UK
