I did talk about typeface copyright. And typeface copyright is well established before courts. If I purchase a (PostScript) font from Linotype Hell AG, I'm not allowed to transform it to bitmap form to store it for further use. The license agreement does not only cover the type itself, but also its presentation. It may be that this isn't the case with ATM, but at least that's possible under German law.
