Then these %400 style files would constitute a de aargh. and don't forget the unique names for all of them. i spent several days with Berry's scheme fitting the Monotype CD full of fonts to it, and i felt as if i was drowning... the leading you use for eg Future Condensed is a matter of style, isn't it, rather than one of `fact' - otherwise it would part of a font metric. if there *is* an agreed relationship between x height and leading, then OK, but do people agree on that? are we talking LaTeX 3 or fonts here, however? sebastian
