That well-known LaTeX-user, "most", has very little control over what is available. Our support service here, for example, would not wish Metafont to be made widely available since this would involve: more support and even heavier system load. Thus whether it "comes with TeX', which it does not, is irrelevant to "most" and their friends. chris
