In fact at least two ones will be definitely written, a user manual and a style designer manual. I daubt that it makes much sense to try going into discussing necessary documentation on the ltx3 system but I can assure you that I pay great attention to this small little detail. I suppose that this will make up a good topic sometime this summer and I will make a proposal then. So please keep the topcis David is getting out of his head, I'm really interested in following the discussion even if I haven't had a chance to contribute substancially so far. > Again, if latex3 is significantly different > from 209 in its user interface and functionality, then if it wishes > to be called LaTeX it is going to be important for Add. But it will definitely not becoming LaTeX with a \tiny 3.0 on the back-title. It also will not become mittelbachtex.fmt :-) and not only for the reason David gave. The new system will have a clear logo distinguishing it from LaTeX209. Not that I have a definite idea for the logo, but again this is future. (To speak with Sherlok Holmes: I will try to forget that the earth is running around the sun, as this will not help me with my current goal :-) cheers Frank ------_=_NextPart_001_01C19443.A408960C Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable {3} Re: {2} {1} Transition from LaTeX 2.09 to LaTeX = 3.0
