I forwarded his problem to Addison-Wesley, and then received the following message from him. I expect that this is the first of a series of requests for assistance from eastern Europe, and it occurred to me that an electronic "LaTeX Marshall Plan" might be appropriate. So, I was wondering if there is someone willing to coordinate such activity. He/she/they would act as a contact point for anyone in the east seeking LaTeX/TeX help, and could eventually help set up an eastern-nations user's group. May I ask you one more question. I use LaTeX to typeset documents with examples of programs' source code. Evidently, those examples must be typeset in the verbatim environment. But, by the definition, in this environment all commands are treated as normal text and so does \include. For now I've override this problem by creating two files (say "start.tex" and "end.tex") with \begin{verbatim} and \end{verbatim} correspondingly. Then I concatenate those files with the file with source code and \include the result. Is there more elegant way to include files in verbatim environment?
